Who we are

Rock is a diverse church family seeking to follow the Lord Jesus Christ.
We delight in the global reach of the Bible’s good news, reflected here in the South of Cambridge. From all walks of life, ages and stages, and from around the world we’re committed to seeing the family of Christ rooted in him, in order to grow in both depth and breadth.
You’ll find Rock to be relaxed, welcoming and inclusive, whether as a curious visitor looking into matters of faith, or as a seasoned believer. Don’t hesitate to drop us a line, or drop in!
You can find further details of what we believe here.
History
Rock Baptist Church began life as a satellite congregation from Eden Baptist Church in 1988. We became a fully independent church in 2000 (and also took on the name Rock, after Rock Road, just around the corner!). We’re affiliated with the FIEC, bringing us into fellowship with hundreds of like-minded churches around the UK. Over the years we’ve also partnered with many individuals and organisations both here in Cambridge and around the world. This desire to reach out with the good news of Christ and to live out his mercy and love to all in a fallen world is very much alive here at Rock.
Leadership
Rock is lead by a group of Elders and assisted by Deacons and committed church members in key areas.
