Diamonds

It’s a free club for over-60s run by volunteers from Rock Baptist Church and is open to all – we welcome people of any faith or none. The afternoon generally runs like this:

For the first half we enjoy tea, coffee, cakes and chat. About halfway through there will be some notices and some food for thought – sometimes we might hear the story of how one of the team members became a Christian or else we might have a short ‘Thought for the Day’ slot where someone gives a very short talk about current affairs and how it relates to an aspect of the Christian faith. During the second half we have the option of craft activities, games like Scrabble, dominoes etc – we’re very open to new ideas too.
